In 2015, Integra’s management and Tufts Health Plan of Massachusetts acquired the business. Scope and Responsibility

If so, Integra’s Managed Care Solutions (MCS) team is looking for you! The MCS Account Manager excels at all forms of communication and is the ambassador of our organization across all external stakeholders including payors and providers. 

Reporting to the Senior Director of MCS, the Account Manager will play a key role in delivering everyday WOW to our health plan and provider clients, virtuously growing our business and creating efficiencies in the healthcare community along the way. The AM will have daily, weekly, and monthly account management responsibilities and will work alongside the teams’ Directors and Vice Presidents to develop and illustrate winning strategies for success. The ideal candidate is relationship driven, has high energy, the ability to energize and execute, and shares a passion for Integra’s vision to remove friction from healthcare.

 
What Success Looks Like

  • Builds relationships with key decision makers at the provider offices and at all levels and departments of the health plan that may include; Provider Relations, Contracting, Network Management, Medical Management, IT, Claims, Member Services, etc.
  • Ability to ask the right questions to uncover pain points and utilize that information to tailor custom solutions to identify upsell opportunities and capture incremental market share
  • Oversees Grievance and Appeals Department requests and provides approval and feedback to internal team members and provider offices on formal written responses to key health plan departments
  • Accompanies MCS leadership and actively participates in meetings with health plans and providers
  • Train, implement, and direct oversight of Integra’s logistics technology platform, Clear by Integra for its’ health plan and provider users
  • Schedule and present in-service presentations that my range from product specific knowledge by leveraging existing provider relationships to educating health plans on Integra’s value prop
  • Health plans’ “go-to” resource for everything related to the scope of services Integra offers, the products its vendors dispense (Durable Medical Equipment, Prosthetics, and Orthotics) and general industry knowledge
  • Demonstrates business judgement for inquiries that should be escalated to MCS leadership and/or other departments
  • Solicits feedback on health plans and providers from Customer Service, Credentialing, and Claims and works with the clients to continuously deliver WOW
  • Leverage payor and provider scorecards to proactively outreach to assigned clients in order to maximize client profitability
  • Client satisfaction whereby your assigned accounts can be considered “Reference Accounts” at any given time

Requirements

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to create and present new ideas and improvements
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.2
  • 1-3 of experience in a client facing role is preferred
  • Strong client account management skills and relationship development experience
  • Ability to strategically identify upsell opportunities and influence decision makers
  • Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues across multiple departments
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required (work sample to be provided)
  • Desire to learn with the ability to ask the right questions to form a solution with solid process and judgment
  • Prior experience with a CRM, preferably Salesforce.com, is a plus
  • Proficiency with MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
